Forgotten Lake Blueberry Ale is subtle, with a clear fruity nose, juicy but muted blueberry with a low bitterness and medium body.

My favourite blueberry beer, this strong ale has a refreshing blueberry twist. The blueberry taste is authentic, and tastes natural, which is very nice. Often fruit beers taste as if a standard beer has been mixed with fruit flavouring, as opposed to being brewed together. This beer avoids that with a lovely, minimal blueberry hint. If I had one complaint, it would be that the blueberry flavour is not more prominent, but this isn't a major concern. It has some nice light carbonation, and is medium bodied for such a strong ABV. Tastes slightly like a scotch ale, with a hint of molasses. This is a sipping beer, and not something to guzzle, especially considering the higher alcohol content.
